Health Guarantee
The following guarantee applies to the pup/dog mentioned above in the Bill of Sale portion. This guarantee is good for 26 months from the date of whelping.
HIP DYSPLASIA:
-
The pup/dog must be currently owned by the person/persons who made the original purchase.
-
The pup/dog must NOT have whelped or sired a litter.
-
The pup/dog must not exceed 26 months of age at the time of the X-RAY. The OFA will accept X-RAYS for evaluation of animals 6 months of age or older. Only dogs 24 months of age or older, with normal hips will be given certification numbers.
-
X-RAY fees are your responsibility.
-
If a dog is diagnosed dysplastic before 26 months of age, a copy of the X-RAY and the OFA report must be submitted to us. All puppies/dogs purchased directly from Colaparchee Kennels are guaranteed to have hips that will pass OFA certification. All hip X-RAYS must be sent to the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals, Inc. for evaluation. If the OFA states that this pup/dog will not pass certification at 26 months, we will replace the pup/dog with a pup/dog of equal value as soon as available. $25+0 deposits are Non-Refundable. No money will be refunded.
-
Guarantee is void if the animal has suffered any trauma to any of the joints in questions.
REPLACEMENT PROCEDURES:
-
If the pup/dog is found to be dysplastic, you must have the pup/dog spayed or neutered by your veterinarian and have him/her send us a letter of verification.
-
The vet fees are your responsibility.
-
Shipping costs for a replaced pup/dog are your responsibilities.
-
Colaparchee Kennels reserves the right to have a second opinion done at our expense.
EYE DISORDERS:
-
If you suspect that this pup/dog has eye problems, you must have the pup/dog examined by a board certified ophthalmologist. If at that time the dog is diagnosed as having retinal eye dysplasia or any other inherited disorder, which would prevent the animal form obtaining a CERF number, the pup/dog will be replaced by a pup/dog of equal value as soon as one is available. No money will be refunded.
-
Defective pup/dog must be spayed or neutered.
